Our Story: Rooted in East Cobb, Built on Integrity

Justin and Allyson Michaud both come from families who have lived and worked in the East Cobb community since the early to mid-1990s. As proud graduates of local schools—including Pope High School and the University of Georgia—we’ve built our lives, careers, and now our business right here in the hometown that shaped us.
Justin has had a passion for landscaping since he was young, running his own landscaping business throughout college. After graduation, he spent years in the corporate world but never gave up on his dream of finding success and happiness through a hands-on trade career. His love for landscaping, hardscaping, pressure washing, and transforming outdoor spaces ultimately became the foundation of J. Michaud & Company.
Allyson worked as a teacher before stepping back to grow their family and take the leap into starting the family business. Together, we built a company that blends professional skill and knowledge with deep local roots. Our work represents not only our business but our family name and history in this community—so everything we do is handled with care, pride, and a commitment to excellence.
Giving back to our hometown, especially Cobb County schools, is at the heart of our mission. Our dream is to create a business that provides local high school graduates with opportunities to find success, happiness, and a living wage through a vocational path. Looking ahead, our vision includes building partnerships with post-high-school vocational programs to help our employees continue their education and grow their careers in the trades.
